桑奇一號塔佛傳圖之獼猴獻蜜

位於北門西柱內側。刻劃《中阿含經》卷八〈未曾有法品〉記載，釋迦牟尼佛行化至吠舍釐，在巴利雷雅卡森林（Parileyyaka）結夏安居時，接受獼猴以蜂蜜供養的故事。
畫面左側金剛座及掛有花環的菩提樹，為佛陀的象徵。獼猴出現兩次，一次在金剛座前雙手捧鉢獻蜜，長尾懸垂，神情恭敬；另一次在畫面右下角，手舞足蹈，表現佛陀已接受供養，獼猴歡喜雀躍。
畫面右上角的沙羅樹花果繁茂，為獼猴採蜜之處。樹下並立四人，右二男，左二女，應為《佛說柰女耆婆經》中，在吠舍釐向佛陀獻供的菴沒羅女及離車族王族。金剛座正前方另有虔誠跪拜的女子及小童，應為造像功德主。將不同故事的情節，安排在同一畫面中，亦為桑奇雕刻作品的特色之一。
