此印文六字，筆直一行，一路貫穿，布局、用字、刻工均統一而工整，所用細碎切刀瘦而勁，為浙派印風；其篆法亦有特殊處，雖以繆篆用字，然每字轉角處皆以方筆轉折，使字體剛強有力，展露出自己獨特的主張。
丁柱字澂庵。生年不詳，約活動於清道光年間（1821～1850）。錢塘（今浙江杭州）人。工刻印，刀法和布局均得益於浙派，蒼澀茂勁，風貌介於陳鴻壽和趙之琛之間。
