該像約製於緬甸蒲甘王朝（Bagan，約849〜1287），為乾漆技法造像的實例之一。
佛結跏趺坐，右手作觸地印，左手置於腹前。無螺髮，低肉髻，耳輪過額，耳垂削長至肩。面圓豐潤，細眉斂目，嘴角微揚，表情沉穩，如入禪定。身軀、臂膀及雙腿修長圓潤，頸部刻三道紋。著袒右袈裟，衣角摺疊成帶狀長及肚臍，並垂繞左臂，足下部位則以線條呈現。整體造像樸拙，風格寫實，穩健有力。
