Prakhon Chai: Four-Armed Maitreya

四臂彌勒菩薩像
泰國武里藍府巴空猜縣出土
泰國武里藍府巴空猜縣（Prakorn Chai, Buri Ram）出土。此地出土的造像大部分為觀音或彌勒菩薩，只有少數佛像和尺寸較小的苦行像，該像為其中佳作之一，保存狀態完好。以脫蠟鑄造法製作，因含錫量高，故表面散放銀光。
菩薩綰高髻，頂戴佛塔，故知為彌勒。臉形方圓，大眼垂視，流露內省的神態，表情安詳。體態輕盈，稍顯勁健，兩腳微分，立姿嫻雅。四臂於肘處分出，結印，手指纖細，刻劃生動細膩，整體形態優美。袒上身，下身圍腰布，短小貼體，繫繩結，衣緣翻摺呈波浪形，樣式素雅。形象樸素無華，說明該像出自七至九世紀間盛行於東南亞地區的苦行菩薩信仰。
