此柬埔寨菩薩立像，頭戴寶冠，樣式華麗獨特，由四個圓扁狀的花飾架起，頂端飾蓮蕾。臉形扁平，既寬且方，闊嘴，下唇稍微凸出，眉毛揚起，有巴戎（Bayon）造像風格少見的杏形鳳眼。袒上身，頸飾項圈，寶冠及項圈原皆鑲嵌寶石，現已佚失。其短紗籠僅覆蓋到膝部，不同於當時其他婦女的穿著。右臀部多出一片三角布，左腰垂下傳統式的布巾。
雙手特別纖細，手掌較小；左手持蓮蕾，右手持經書，經書遭壓損以致從正面無法看出，推測是埋在地下時所造成的。
由手上的經書可知此尊像為般若菩薩，即般若佛母，意為諸佛之母。吳哥（約9～15世紀）晚期的匠師多將佛母、觀音菩薩及佛作三身一體的形象，通常以類如此像簡單造型，或是以千手的形式表現。
