此圖表現彌勒佛說法的景象，原為清代（1644～1911）宮廷作品，以彩色和鍍金絲線織製而成。
彌勒佛高髮髻，頂飾蓮蕾。頭光採暈染的配色法，二重身光。雙手當胸，結轉法輪印，結跏趺坐於蓮座上。前方案几上置供物，左右各有一菩薩。人物之餘布局花草、山石及流雲，生動有致。畫心外緣以「壽」字環繞。
全圖石青色為地，運用五彩絲線，營造出畫面深淺、明暗的起伏變化。畫軸背面留有題記，以漢、滿、蒙、藏等四種語言載明，乾隆四十二年（1777）第四個月的第三天，朝廷贈此物予西藏顯貴迦格般寶祐（ngag dbang dpal ¡¦byor）。
