牧雲通門
江蘇常熟 僧人
俗姓張，號牧雲、臥菴，世稱牧雲通門禪師。生於一五九九年，卒於一六七一年。明代（1368～1644）臨濟宗僧。江蘇常熟人。初投虞山興福寺洞聞和尚出家，並依其為師。後遊方參學，請益無異元來禪師，至金粟寺謁密雲圓悟禪師，得其心印，從學者為數眾多。明萬曆八年（1580）駐錫浙江嘉興古南禪院，咸稱古南和尚。
歷住棲真、梅谿、興福、極樂、鶴林、天童景德諸名剎；後辭歸隱遁十餘載，居無定所。師博通外學，能詩文，擅長書畫，頗有魏晉（265～420）古風。著有《牧雲和尚宗本投機頌》、《牧雲和尚懶齋別集》、《牧雲和尚七會語錄》。編有《密雲禪師語錄》。
