不空●（上四+下絹）索觀音菩薩像
尼泊爾加德滿都谷地出土
尼泊爾加德滿都（Kathmandu）谷地出土。不空●（Q）索意為永不脫落的繩索，象徵菩薩以繩索拯救眾生脫離苦海、超越輪迴和遠離地獄煎熬之苦，以至最終證悟。這尊木雕像表現觀音菩薩的另一種應化形式，在尼泊爾地區十分流行。
此像面容莊嚴，氣質靈秀。身形頎長，作一面八臂相，惜手臂多已毀損，唯一完整的右手自然垂下施與願印。髮髻高聳，頂飾寶珠。戴寶冠，上飾內刻蓮瓣的圓輪，兩側冠飾卷曲頗具特色。雙耳佩大耳璫，樣式與冠上裝飾相同。頸飾項圈，胸前垂掛兩條項鍊，其中一條長及股間。纖腰豐臀特別突顯，腰際懸三垂飾，末端狀似蓮瓣，典雅細緻；另垂掛一圓弧形裝飾帶。身軀略向左傾，立於一小巧的仰覆蓮台上。通身彩繪多已斑駁，部分顏色依稀可辨。
