資壽寺地獄十王像

位於山西省晉中市靈石縣資壽寺地藏殿。資壽寺現存建築、壁畫和彩塑均為明代（1368～1644）作品，其中彩塑百尊，以羅漢殿之十六羅漢及地藏殿之十王像最為著名。十王即在冥府裁斷亡者罪業之十判官。據《佛說預修十王生七經》載，人死後趣冥途時，初七日過秦廣王，二七日過初江王，三七日過宋帝王，四七日過五官王，五七日過閻羅王，六七日過變成王，七七日過太山王，百日過平等王，一周年過都市王，三周年過五道轉輪王，如斯次第受十王裁斷。
此寺之十王位於地藏菩薩兩側，均身穿官服端坐，或作帝王形，頭戴冕旒；或作文臣、武將，戴天冠。面部表情各殊，有雙目圓睜，神情威嚴，有溫和中透露著威嚴。手或持笏板，或握卷冊，或握拳，或撫膝。手勢、表情各不相同，具高度的寫實性。
