Bingling Temple Cave 168: Heavenly King

炳靈寺石窟第168窟天王像
甘肅永靖
位於南壁。天王高髮髻，立眉圓眼，獅鼻闊口，八字鬍上翹。上身著龍頭護膊、胸甲，腰際繫帶，下著短裙，並有護腿，足蹬戰靴。右手叉腰，左手握拳上舉，左腿向側前方邁出，跨步立於山岩台上，神態威猛，身軀雄健。
此身造像比例準確，造型自然，明快舒展，較好地塑造了天王雄姿英發、孔武有力的形象，是炳靈寺唐代（618～907）石窟中天王像的代表作。
