觀音菩薩像
斯里蘭卡
此斯里蘭卡造像冠上刻劃化佛，左手持甘露瓶，據此推測應為觀音菩薩。卷髮，頭戴高聳的雙層寶冠，眉弓凸起與鼻梁相接，雙耳垂肩。頸飾華麗繁複的雙層項鍊，戴腕釧和蓮花叢狀的臂釧。身形豐滿厚實，臂膀寬闊，腰肢纖細。袒上身，左肩斜披珠串聖線並環繞至右髖。繫腰帶，著長裙，除腿部兩側顯現斜向衣褶，其餘皆平滑無痕。
菩薩身形略呈「S」形，顯得輕鬆自在，此姿態為典型阿努拉德普勒時期（Anuradhapura，4世紀BCE～10世紀）的風格。此時期的佛教造像另一特點為圓潤的體格和風格化的衣著，下裳緊貼腿部，強調雙腿之間的褶皺和略微展開的下襬。頸項上的雙層項鍊、斜披的聖線和臂釧上的蓮叢裝飾，皆顯示此像約造於八至九世紀間。
