Taxila Jaulian Temple: Figurine of Seated Buddha

巴基斯坦西北邊境省塔克西拉堯里安寺院遺址出土
巴基斯坦旁遮普省塔克西拉古城（Taxila, Punjab）堯里安（Jaulian）佛寺遺址出土。犍陀羅造像多以片岩石雕或灰泥塑像為主，青銅造像稀少，所發現的青銅佛像多造於五世紀後，此像為其中一例。
此佛像帶圓形頭光，肉髻高圓，唇上留髭，表情帶著安詳靜謚的微笑。身著通肩大衣，手結禪定印，結跏趺坐。佛像腹部開一圓形小洞，推測是讓祈願者將手指放置於此向佛陀祈求病癒。在堯里安佛寺遺址主塔北面灰泥坐像腹部，亦發現有相同的指穴。
