釋曇徵
畫家／僧人
生於五七九年，卒於六三一年。韓國高句麗時期（37 BCE～668）僧人。於高句麗嬰陽王二十一年（610）至日本，傳授彩畫、工藝、紙墨及漆的製造法。據平安時代（794～1185）《日本書紀》載：飛鳥推古天皇十八年（610）高麗僧曇徵渡來，通五經，精繪畫、工藝、造紙墨彩色及碾磴。
曇徵與當時日僧法定同住奈良法隆寺講論佛法，並繪製法隆寺金堂壁畫，以四方四佛淨土圖聞名。曇徵不僅於日本首傳造紙術，並將調製色彩技術帶入，對飛鳥時代（538～645）彩繪的發展影響極大。
