聖德太子像 圓快

該像為日本奈良法隆寺東院繪殿舉行聖德太子逝世紀念法會時之主尊，現藏於大寶藏殿。傳說是聖德太子七歲時的童子形象，另一說是十六歲時的少年英姿。據像內銘文得知，平安治曆五年（1069）由雕刻師圓快所作，畫師秦致貞繪製。現在表面色彩為日本南北朝永德四年（1384）整修時仿當初之紋樣描繪。一九○六年指定為日本重要文化財。
太子頭部、軀幹由檜木整材雕造，先前後切離，內刳後再接合而成。頭髮從頂上分向左右，在耳邊結成圓形髮髻，為日本古代男子髮型之一。面相圓潤，表情堅毅，目視前方。體軀豐盈，身著黃丹色貴族服飾，下裳垂覆座前，左手持扇，右手置於右膝，端坐於箱形轎子上。轎子可以抬著行走，頂蓋上置寶珠，四隅木條翹起，正面上方垂吊飾物，更增添其尊貴。
