Horyuji Temple: Vessel with Human Face

金銅貼花胡面淨瓶

金銅鑄造，色呈微黃，為八世紀作品。通高30.9公分，腹徑11.5公分。因其卵形的瓶身、肩部仿皮袋形的注水口，其下方作蓄鬚的胡人面孔，故稱貼花胡面淨瓶。現為日本重要文化財。
圈足外撇，圓身，細長頸，頸上段作相輪形。注水口附蓋。瓶頸、身、圈足及注水口分別以蠟型鑄造後，再轆轤旋製而成。一般推測製於喜愛汲取胡風的中國唐代（618～907），再經由水路流傳至日本。
