李德裕重瘞禪眾寺舍利題記 李德裕

李德裕為唐文宗（826～840在位）時宰相，即「牛李黨爭」中的「李」，復為會昌法難的推手之一。然而，此題記卻是李德裕自誌施捨金棺、銀槨、錦繡襆九重，瘞藏舍利於甘露寺塔地宮之事。凡十四行，計一百七十二字。可作為研究當時李氏對佛教態度的重要資料。
唐代（618～907）為楷書發展最高峰的時代，即非名家，所書亦多可觀。李德裕處於顏真卿、柳公權二位楷書名家之世，故此題記書法雖非佳作，猶有顏真卿寬闊穩重的結字，點畫亦略見柳字硬實之態，可見當時一般書風的樣式。
參考釋文：有唐太和三年己酉歲正月廿四日／乙巳於上元縣禪眾寺舊塔基下獲／舍利石函以其年二月十五日乙丑／重瘞藏於丹徒縣甘露寺東塔下金／棺一銀槨一錦繡襆九重皆余之施／也余長慶壬寅歲／穆宗皇帝擢自憲臺廉于澤國星霜／八稔祗事 三朝永懷 舊恩歿／齒難報創甘露寶剎重瘞 舍利所／以資／穆皇之冥福也浙江西道觀察等使／銀青光祿大夫撿校禮部尚書兼潤／州刺史御史大夫李德裕記／長干寺 舍利在東函 禪眾寺 舍利在西函
