柬埔寨磅同省磅同維區聖劍寺出土
柬埔寨磅通省磅通維區（Kampong Svay, Kampong Thum）聖劍寺（Preah Khan Temple of Kampong Svay）出土。此尊像係描繪在風雨不止時，目支鄰陀龍王以身軀圍繞釋尊，復以七頭於釋尊頭上伸展開來護衛的場面。柬埔寨吳哥時期（約9～15世紀）的建國神話與龍蛇信仰有著深厚關係，故此類龍王護佛造像自十世紀起非常盛行。
佛陀頭戴寶冠，頂髻尖聳。臉呈方形，面帶微笑，寬鼻闊嘴，雙眉相連，整體呈現典型高棉（今柬埔寨）人的面貌。身軀壯碩，雙手結禪定印，半跏趺坐於層疊的龍身上。寶冠和身上的裝飾品如耳飾、項圈、臂釧等均細緻繁複，冠式及頂髻的表現方式見於十二世紀上半葉的吳哥窟造像，但如此精細者則較少有。
