Mingun Pagoda: Tile with the Third Buddhist Council

明宮塔磚雕
原緬甸曼德勒明宮塔
原位於緬甸曼德勒省（Mandalay）明宮塔（Mingun Pagoda）。該塔又稱莊嚴之塔，由緬甸末代貢榜王朝（Konbaung，1752～1885）第二任國王孟雲王（Bodawpaya，1782～1819在位）於一七九○年開始興建，此造像磚為建該塔而造。
明宮塔基座呈階梯式，上鑲嵌著綠、棕、黃三個顏色的釉陶造像磚，這些造像磚展現了佛教經典幾次結集時的景象。此磚作正方形，內刻劃一寺院式建築，屋檐三層，每層屋脊均飾龍；屋檐上、底座與四周邊緣均裝飾著法輪圖案。寺內有四位僧人端坐其中。磚雕下方刻有「第三次結集」的文字。
