Bodhisattva in Contemplation

思惟菩薩半跏像
傳韓國忠清南道公州寺院遺址出土
傳韓國忠清南道公州寺院遺址出土。該像約鑄於七世紀，一體鑄造，肩部以下中空，背面有長方形的嵌金，推測係鑄造時填入金屬物的痕跡。
菩薩坐於台座上，右手肘倚於右膝，手指輕觸臉頰，右足屈置左膝上，左手放置右足，左足垂踏蓮花，腹部內收，狀若沉思，呈現半跏思惟菩薩像之姿態。頭戴上方敞開的大型寶冠，繒帶垂下貼臂，佩帶狀的胸飾等，表現百濟時期（18 BCE～663）的傳統樣式。下著長裙，腹前束帶，褶紋繁複具有立體感。
