道因法師碑 歐陽通

全稱《大唐故翻經大德益州多寶寺道因法師碑文并序》。李儼撰文，歐陽通書。弟子玄凝為紀念其師道因一生行誼而立碑。凡三十四行，滿行七十三字，碑文完整無缺。道因法師幼年出家，唐貞觀十九年（645）受召至長安（今陝西西安）協助玄奘大師譯經，故碑文首題「翻經大德」。碑額有「故大德因法師碑」七字橫陳，字徑只有寸餘，是存世碑版額字最小者。
歐陽通字師通，初唐（618～712）書法家，歐陽詢之子，繼承乃父書風，以筆力險勁著稱。此碑文結構緊密，筆力遒健，方筆剛折，尤其橫畫的起筆尖翹，收筆帶有隸意，如雁尾出鋒，但鋒穎過露，含蓄不及其父。此書為其傳世的唯一佛書作品及代表作。
