Mao’erbao Chieftain Tan Tomb: Crown Ornament

一九七六年湖北省恩施州宣恩縣貓兒堡土司墓出土。明代(1368~1644)作品。黃金打造,高5公分。下緣呈弧形,四周以金片和金絲製成花卉,內嵌紅、藍寶石。
 中央一坐佛,戴寶冠,斂目,左手持念珠,盤右腿,豎左腿,略微側身,趺坐於蓮座上。佛身後蓮瓣形舉身光,鏤空,鏨刻纏枝紋地,上飾三朵蓮花,周緣環繞聯珠紋和火焰紋。兩側侍立一童子,臉形豐圓,雙手籠於袖中。做工精細,為少見的黃金工藝珍品。
