生卒年不詳。清代（1644～1911）雕塑家。約活動於康熙年間（1662～1722）。師法楊璿，擅刻人物，尤以羅漢、佛像最為精工。喜用福建福州壽山石造像。
存世作品稀少，清宮僅見伏虎羅漢像。此像以潔淨瑩潤、色彩絢麗的壽山石為材質。羅漢一手持金剛環，一手伏虎，坐於長方形座。其刀法嫻熟，衣紋繁縟有致、眉目傳神畢現。
座下鐫有「弟子魏開通鐫」、「開通」款二方，藏北京故宮博物院。另有以伽南香木鑲嵌壽山石的羅漢山子。
