作品內容為《不空●（上四+下絹）索神變真言經》，現存十八卷，此經乃是就不空●（上四+下絹）索觀音功德加以敘述的經典。一九五九年指定為日本國寶。
此經的書寫品質相當優秀，特別引人注目處主要有二：其一為尖鋒入於筆頓轉與收筆端點的複雜動作，使每個字的美感豐富度大為提升。再者，無論是細勁如鐵的筆畫中段，或是壓筆直送的捺筆，都相當有自信地拉長筆意，自在雄勁的意態，便因而躍然於紙上。
