佛像圓形頭光大部分殘損，大耳，眉間有白毫，五官輪廓深邃，微啟的雙眼使表情顯得沉靜安穩。頭髮呈密集的波浪狀，覆蓋於頭頂及肉髻上，與秣菟羅（Mathura）佛像的螺髮有顯著不同。肩寬胸厚，腹部微隆，左膝微屈，跣足立於三面雕花的方形台上。披通肩袈裟，左手握衣裾，右手手指斷損，施無畏印，被右臂提起的下襬處可見內裙勻整的褶襞。袈裟的「U」形衣紋結構清晰，並呈現出律動感。
儘管頭光及手指有所破損，然其高大的尺寸與完美比例，仍不失為犍陀羅佛陀立像的代表作。
