Leifeng Pagoda: Figurine of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva

玉雕觀音菩薩像
湖北省襄陽市蔡越墓出土
二○○一年浙江省杭州市雷峰塔地宮出土。白玉為質，玉料溫和柔潤，光澤晶瑩。通高4公分，寬2.1公分，厚0.4公分。菩薩戴花冠，面圓，五官概括。著寬袖交領衫。左手屈肘托一物，右手置於胸前，趺坐於蓮座上。像作雙面刻花，臉部、衣著及蓮座以陰線刻琢紋路。蓮座下有一榫頭，原應附有底座。
雷峰塔地宮同時出土善財童子像一尊，與菩薩像均為五代（907～960）時期之作，是目前中國佛塔地宮出土年代相對較早的玉雕珍品。
