菩薩戴高寶冠，寶繒飄垂至腰間。臉形豐潤圓滿，顴骨略明顯，雙眉纖細彎曲，眼微睜，略帶笑意。身軀豐腴，袒上身，胸前佩戴寶飾，戴臂釧、腕釧，瓔珞垂披於右肩，帔帛繞肘飄垂體側，著西域樣式的低腰緊身下裙，裙褶刻劃生動。右手屈肘平肩，手部姿態優美，左手垂下執寶瓶，跣足而立。
整體身驅呈「S」形曲線，胸、腹及臀部豐滿，加上手姿的柔美表現，健碩體態與曼妙舞姿結合下，體現出盛唐時期（712～756）塑造力與美的特色。曲線運用和姿態表現再加上寶繒及衣帶的飄拂，使此造像極具輕靈翔動的風采。這種塑法，似乎與繪畫上的吳帶當風有一定關係，屬盛唐時期的鎏金銅菩薩造像代表作之一。
