此尼泊爾造像凝神閉目，結跏趺坐，神態莊嚴。右手作觸地印，據此推測為釋迦牟尼佛在菩提伽耶成道像或阿●（L）佛像。頭部略向前傾，螺髮粗密，頂飾髻珠，方額廣頤，雙目垂視，鼻翼兩側向內緊收，下巴較短，特別是一對瘦長雙耳，其下半部耳洞特大而清晰，此做法常見於瑪拉王朝（Malla，約1200～1768）初期。
佛肩部寬厚，腰部纖長，身上的袒右袈裟平滑無痕，僅在胸前衣緣可見凸起的線條，以及袖口和腳踝邊緣細膩的圖案。左肩處另刻劃了雙層的衣緣皺褶，此處理方式為先前青銅坐像所無，不曾見於十二世紀前尼泊爾的石造或青銅佛像。
