該像保存完好，正面釋迦牟尼佛結跏趺坐於二足方形台座上。高肉髻，面相莊嚴，五官刻劃簡略，面帶微笑，神色溫和。身著圓領通肩袈裟，褶紋密集，手結禪定印。蓮瓣形背光外緣刻劃簡單的直線，似簡化的火焰紋，中層圓形身光飾九尊化佛，內層圓形頭光狀若蓮花。
背光後面為重層式壁龕。下端正中刻一尖拱龕，釋迦、多寶二佛端坐其內。龕柱外兩側各有一供養人像，其上各有一身持蓮飛天。拱額上並排八尊禪定坐佛。上端為彌勒佛及二脇侍菩薩。同類小品時有出土，民間流傳和私人收藏亦為數不少，說明此種造型曾一度盛行。
