此像約鑄造於十二世紀，推測係北宋（960～1127）或遼代（907～1125）所作，後傳至日本，現為日本重要文化財。
菩薩頭束高髻，戴高聳寶冠，正面有阿彌陀化佛坐像，寶冠上刻滿蔓草紋飾，佩大耳璫，冠旁繒帶飄落身前，顯得雍容華貴。細眉通於鼻梁，眼瞼鼓起，鼻挺唇薄，嘴角微收，面頰薄平，形貌端莊。右手舉至胸前托寶珠，左手屈舉齊腰提水瓶，跣足端立。身軀纖細，予人體態輕盈之感。帔帛飾珠串瓔珞，自肩垂於腹前呈「U」形，再翻卷繞肘於體側，左右對稱。戴腕釧、臂釧，佩掛胸飾、瓔珞，由胸前延伸至下襬，其間飾寶相花紋樣，全身掛滿細緻精美飾物，造型細膩。
