菩薩頭戴高寶冠，冠繒飄垂至肩，紮結後順臂垂落。高鼻厚唇，嘴角微微上翹，略帶笑意，神態溫和慈祥。形體飽滿，圓肩，披帔巾，飾項圈、瓔珞，裙裾褶皺簡約，質地厚重。左手置於腹前，右手屈肘上舉作說法狀，結跏趺坐於仰蓮座上。上層蓮瓣間淺刻直條紋，富立體真實感，下與圓形束腰基座相接，是宋代（960～1279）頗為流行的座式。
此像在造型上基本已世俗化，以人的形象為依據，因此不論在造型、衣著及情態上都以寫實為主，正是宋代佛教造像藝術發展趨勢。
