原名張敬，字慕漁、 荷帆，別署觀海樓主。生於一九一○年。篆刻家。山東煙台人。幼從兄習顏書《多寶塔碑》，後學《史晨碑》。平生以恬澹虛靜四字為座右銘。中年皈依佛門，並受五戒法號曉元。治印旁及刻竹，偶製博古印鈕，精緻古雅。佛教篆刻作品南無阿彌陀佛，用刀如筆，秀潤舒澹。
