Jingoji Temple: Sutra Wrapper

日本平安時代（794～1185）作品，留傳於京都神護寺，現藏於東京根津美術館。經帙作長方形，以染墨的竹篾為緯，紫、茶、淡茶、綠、淡藍及深藍之著色彩線為經，編織而成。四周邊框以紅地卷花菱鳥紋織錦，紋樣以白、藍、黃綠及淡茶等彩線編織而成；內襯綾絹則以綠地織出仿靈芝般的小紋樣。竹篾下可見襯底的雲母紙片。
經帙兩端縫綴彩線帶子，上飾斜紋圖案，於交錯處繫結，以便捆束經卷。兩角及交叉處均加固蝴蝶圖紋的金銅飾物。此作雖已褪色，仍不失絹絲的光澤及色調之美。
