阿富汗楠格哈爾省哈達塔巴易修特寺院遺址出土
阿富汗楠格哈爾省哈達（Hadda, Nangarhar）塔巴易修特（Tapa-i-Shotor）佛寺遺址出土。該遺址發現許多灰泥製造的各式佛教造像，或坐或立，形式不一，無論表現在佛、菩薩、天人聖眾或世俗人物等造像，不但工藝細緻，而且著力吸收希臘、羅馬的寫實手法，形象多樣、表情豐富，呈現出不同身分人物的內在精神。
這兩件殘存的頭部塑像，表現哈達地區的年輕女子，五官秀美，杏眼彎眉，鼻梁高挺，嘴唇刻劃精緻。或束髮素顏，清純若少女，或綰髮高盤，盛裝裝飾如貴婦，氣質婉約。該地區塑像皆先風乾後再施彩繪，進一步烘托視覺效果。
