Inspiring Poems of Zhang Hua by Wang Chong; Ming dynasty

江蘇長洲(今吳縣) 書畫家

字履仁、履吉,號雅宜山人,人稱王雅宜。生於一四九四年,卒於一五三三年。 明代(1368~1644)書畫家。長洲(今江蘇蘇州)人。擅詩文,以詞翰稱於世。著有《雅宜山人集》傳世。
 書法初學蔡羽,楷書師虞世南、智永禪師,行書學王獻之。筆法靈巧內斂,筆觸古拙,作品自然率直。清乾隆皇帝(1735~1796在位)稱其行楷,筆法純熟。前人評其行草「巧中見拙,以拙取巧」。與文徵明、祝允明共稱吳中三子。資質才情突出,故有「衡山之後,書法以王雅宜為第一」之譽。
 書跡有楷書《送陳子齡會試詩》、草書《五言律詩》,藏北京故宮博物院;《張華勵志詩》,藏上海博物館;《千字文》、《石湖八絕句》,藏臺灣臺北故宮博物院;《宿白雀寺詩二首》,藏江蘇蘇州博物館。
