Chofukuji Temple: Cabinet with Samantabhadra Bodhisattva

木漆彩繪普賢菩薩像廚子
日本京都府宇治市放生院十三重石塔出土
據廚子背面朱漆銘文，得知製於日本鎌倉正和二年（1313），翌年功德主僧顯實供養導師奈良唐招提寺僧慈觀。
廚子木質，通高192.4公分，乃供奉佛像或經典的佛龕，由寶蓋、廚身與台座組成。台座多層，上層為束腰須彌座，寶蓋及束腰須彌座框邊之四角、棖子上下和立面均用銅片包鑲。
廚身正面為對開門扉，內部為三面板壁。正面板壁高170公分，寬87.5公分，於漆地上以白灰泥作底，彩繪普賢菩薩像。菩薩乘象，右手握劍，左手持經卷，略微側身，帶有頭光及舉身光。菩薩現身於右下方誦經的比丘面前，左右描繪十羅剎女，係表現《妙法蓮華經》中記述守護受持《法華經》者之題材。
