Toji Temple: Precept Box

木貼金銅輪寶紋戒體箱

日本十五世紀作品，為日本真言密教灌頂三昧耶戒場納藏戒本之戒體箱，屬當時典型樣式。
箱木胎，呈長方體，平底。長36公分，寬12.7公分，高12公分。蓋與身相合，並於口沿處以鉚釘拴上銅條穩固。
箱體除外箱底部外，均包覆金銅板。蓋面及箱身四壁貼飾輪寶，飾紋均以線條表現，側立面設一環鈕。輪寶有摧破煩惱之意，一般視為佛陀說法之象徵。
