Mogao Cave 17: Sutra Wrapper

甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。經帙呈長方形，以淡紅色平絹為地，內襯粗紙片，兩端以木籤加固。周圍用厚錦作緣，上飾橢圓形圖紋，內有對獅，外緣環繞菱形紋，為波斯薩珊王朝（Sassanid，224～651）的紋樣。經帙中央另豎綠灰色絹布，其左右兩側各縫製絹布一條，分為三個區塊，兩面均書寫一「開」字。
經帙上端縫綴三條錦帶，中間主帶較長，向上延伸；另兩條於兩側交叉，縫於主帶上方。主帶尾端另縫製麻布帶子，用於捆束經卷。
