生卒年不詳。南宋（1127～1279）畫家。汴京（今河南開封）人。擅畫釋道人物，師法李公麟。紹興年間（1131～1162）任畫院祗候。
據《圖繪寶鑑》記載，其「白描人物頗得閒逸自在之狀」；《南宋院畫錄》評其畫作歸去來圖，云：「筆法古雅，絹素精古，殊可愛玩，亦自龍眠翻出，宋絹中之不易得者。」梁楷為其高徒，畫名勝過其師。
傳世作品甚少，現藏臺灣臺北故宮博物院的白描大士像，推測為明代（1368～1644）畫家偽託賈氏之名所作。另有巖關古寺圖，亦藏臺北故宮博物院，相傳為其所繪。
