天王頭戴兜鍪，耳護向上翻卷。身穿十字冑甲，肩飾垂帶。右手置腿上，左手原持物，現部分已缺。雕像結實的肌肉和壯碩的身軀，顯示天王的威武；兼以怒目圓睜，對稱座下身體曲臥，且神色驚恐難忍的兩個鬼怪，更襯托天王的神勇。
以現實將士形象來表現佛教的天王，既具世俗將軍驍勇善戰的雄姿，又表現出佛教護法的威儀。雕刻技法嫻熟，藝術價值極高。
