木雕獅子寶座
緬甸
獅子寶座原安置在緬甸皇宮大殿內，為帝王之御座。木質髹金漆，上飾佛教宇宙界的繁複圖紋，盡顯富麗堂皇，表徵皇權如佛之意。
座上部呈直立式尖拱形龕，兩側設龕柱，每柱均飾三尊護法神，中央各作一圓圈，內有孔雀及兔子，係表日月。龕柱向上延伸成龕楣，外層呈弧形彎曲，形如獸角。龕頂猶如須彌山，中央聳立一宮殿，內有一坐像，似表帝釋天之忉利天宮，兩側列有合掌立像。龕內設鎏金鐵製拉門，帝、后經由此門親駕寶座。下有束腰須彌座，其立面刻有小獅，以獅子喻王，故名獅子寶座。
