五佛冠又作五佛寶冠、五智冠，慣以大日如來居中，其餘另置四佛，呈橫列五佛。此冠屬西藏十五世紀初期儀式用莊嚴具，整體紋飾樸實，技法簡潔，為上品之作。
冠由五瓣六弧尖拱形冠片組成。冠面以絲線在淺褐色絲地刺繡五佛，並用黑絲帶連接成型。五佛均綰髮高髻，戴寶冠，身飾瓔珞，帶多重頭光和背光，頭光上方為雲紋。結跏趺坐於蓮座上，下有飾壼門的須彌座。每尊佛造型相若，唯印相及身色各異。
