西藏十八世紀之作。金翅鳥，或稱大鵬金翅鳥，即迦樓羅，原為印度神話中的巨鳥，常以半人半鳥或全鳥形象見於佛教建築物或雕刻作品。
木雕金翅鳥，通體髹金漆。半鳥半人形，豎髮戴冠，冠中帶有兩角。三目圓睜，炯炯有神。扁鼻鷹喙，口銜一蛇，雙手高舉緊握蛇身。身後雙翅展開，翅尾下垂。袒胸露腹，腹部圓凸，飾瓔珞。足爪攫物，展現雄健有力之氣勢。
