Zhihua Temple Zhihua Hall: Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the Ten Kings of Hell

位於北京市東城區智化寺智化殿。採對稱式構圖，中央是地藏菩薩，面頰豐滿，慈祥莊嚴，右手持錫杖，左手托如意寶珠，坐於坐騎善聽背上的蓮座。地藏左右脇侍一僧一俗，為道明與閔公；道明呈年輕比丘形象，閔公為一老者身形，兩人均雙手合十，態度謙恭。據《百丈叢林清規證義記》卷三記載，佛滅度一千五百年，地藏降跡為新羅王子，姓金，號喬覺，唐永徽四年（653）出家。後至安徽九華山，受當地閔公供養；閔公之子從其出家，法名道明。閔公後來亦皈依佛門，禮其子道明為師。故今地藏左右脇侍分別為道明與閔公。
地藏左右除了道明與閔公，另有冥府十王，均雙手持笏，面向地藏菩薩拱手而立，所著衣冠樣式相同，然顏色有別。畫面人物眾多，線條流暢，色彩絢麗。
