綾地健陀穀子袈裟
中國
傳為日僧空海自中國留學歸國時，其師青龍寺惠果阿闍梨所授予之物。製於八世紀。健陀為色調、色彩之意；穀子即薄絹。袈裟原本是將細碎布洗淨後縫綴而成，此袈裟以綴織橫堤七條，故稱七條袈裟。一九五三年指定為日本國寶。
呈長方形，襯裡以紫色唐花紋綾羅為地，縫製成五幅，以黃、淡青色為主色調，並捻搓白、紫色彩線作成輪形圖樣。七條橫堤以數色絹線縫綴成雲層狀紋，宛如多層布縫補而成。邊緣、豎條及四隅以茶褐色輪寶羯磨紋綾羅織成，豎條襯裡以淡青色唐花綾羅拼縫。袈裟邊緣和豎條的綾羅乃後來所補綴。
