Longxing Temple: Bodhisattva in Contemplation (detail)
思惟菩薩半跏像
山東省青州市龍興寺遺址出土
一九九六年山東省青州市龍興寺遺址出土。思惟菩薩像在北朝時期（386～581）已流行於石窟造像中，形象一般為一腿垂下，一腿屈起架其膝上；一手支頤，另一手自然垂下置屈起的腳掌上，形態輕鬆自在。
該菩薩貼金彩繪，保存完好。頭戴平沿小花冠，冠前緣二層束帶，下層飾三顆圓珠，束帶之間朱紅色底上繪聯珠紋，冠兩側帛帶垂遮耳邊。此花冠形式及聯珠紋飾具西域文化風采。菩薩面相端正飽滿，柳葉眉，雙眼微啟，鼻梁端直，小口微抿呈微笑狀，神情含蓄。袒上身，戴圓形項圈，雙肩披帛，下著紅色長裙，衣飾簡潔，裙褶流暢具裝飾性。左右臂損毀，僅見左手掌留於右腳掌，右手殘指留於右下腮。菩薩坐於束腰寶座上，左腳下垂踩蓮蓬，座下雕一飛龍，口吐蓮葉蓮蓬。
