Eastern Thousand Buddha Cave 2: Dragons and Phoenixes
東千佛洞第2窟龍鳳紋
甘肅瓜州
位於南、北甬道頂部。盝形頂壁畫可分作中間的平頂和左右兩個斜披，共三面，均塗土黃為地色，中間壁面下方繪一隻展翅飛翔的鳳鳥，有赭石色的鳳身、鳳尾，黑白相間的羽翅，四周花枝圍繞，鳳鳥似在其間嬉戲。另一端繪有半隻白色鳳鳥，二鳥之間繁花似錦。左右兩披基本對稱，各畫一條張牙舞爪的巨龍，其前方繪形態各異的花朵。畫面布局疏密有致，畫法採用勾線填色，造型生動，畫風嫻熟自然。
