Java: Oil Lamp in the Shape of a Kinnari

銅緊那羅燈

印尼

印尼中爪哇時期(約7~13世紀)燈具。燈作緊那羅女形,緊那羅又作緊捺洛、歌樂神或音樂天,原為印度神祇,後被佛教納為八部眾之第七,具有美妙的音聲,能歌善舞。
 此緊那羅燈具為人首鳥身,兩足並攏而立。頭戴華冠,五官俊美,耳佩璫。頭後方置一長莖蓮花,上有一環,可串長鍊便於懸掛。體型豐滿,腹部渾圓中空,可儲燈油。雙翅上展,羽翼刻劃精緻。胸前設一鳥喙,原置放燈芯。
 緊那羅造像常見於印度波羅王朝(Pala,約8~12世紀)那爛陀寺及其他地區的雕塑作品,由傳世的爪哇銅雕塑推測,九至十世紀時亦曾盛行於印尼中爪哇地區。
