竹漆供瓶
緬甸
緬甸大型佛前供具。此對供瓶以竹、木及金屬編織成型，局部髹以金漆，鏨刻花卉紋、抽象圖紋及昂首闊步的獸形紋，上嵌彩色琉璃，色彩鮮麗，紋飾繁複。雙瓶均作圓腹，有蓋，下具高圓足，底徑60公分，內部施紅漆。蓋上有塔形捉手，頂部立一鳥，形似孔雀或金翅鳥，昂首翹尾，鳥背另立三層相輪。
貢榜王朝（Konbaung，1752～1885）朝廷曾頒布法令，凡金漆器物僅限於佛教和王室使用，加上十九世紀末起曼德勒省（Mandalay）成為該國工藝中心，故推測此作應來自第三次緬英戰爭（1885）後的曼德勒皇家寺院。
