生卒年不詳。清代（1644～1911）畫家。乾隆年間（1736～1795）任職內廷畫院供奉。擅畫人物、佛像、鞍馬及山水，畫法接近金廷標。善以皴法表現山石、樹皮的紋理，喜用小斧劈皴法，少用水墨塗染畫面。
畫作十六羅漢圖，羅漢與山水相合，人物及樹石著色雅麗，今存北京故宮博物院。乾隆三十七年（1772）於皇太后萬壽慶典，摹唐會昌九老圖，繪成二十七老沈初書詩，描繪二十七位文武老臣承蒙恩賜遊香山的情景；另繪有八駿圖，均藏臺灣臺北故宮博物院。
