如水宗淵
畫僧 繪畫卷
號如水。生卒年不詳。日本室町時代（1392～1573）後期雪舟派之畫師、臨濟宗禪僧。任神奈川圓覺寺藏主，管理藏經一職。赴周防山口（今山口）拜謁雪舟等楊為師，其作品深受雪舟賞識，明應四年（1495）獲贈破墨山水圖，作為認可其畫技熟練之證物，現為日本國寶，藏東京國立博物館。
宗淵活躍於京都、鎌倉一帶，為繼承雪舟派畫風之第一人。雪舟晚年因思念弟子常寫信給宗淵，這些信件現藏於東京梅澤記念館。傳世作品十餘件，以跋陀婆羅像較為有名，藏神奈川圓覺寺。
